Summer Bishil (born June 15, 1985) is an American actress best known for playing Margo as Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy fantasy-drama series that aired from 2015 until present. Prior to that, she was acknowledged by playing an American girl aged 13 Jasira Maroun who undergoes tumultuous personal experiences in the backdrop the U.S. war in Iraq during the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film Towelhead. She was subsequently picked as one of Variety's Top 10 Actors to Watch in 2007. In 2009, she played the imposing Taslima in the film Crossing Over. She was nominated in the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead for this film. In addition, she has appeared in a number of films, including Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star and Under the Silver Lake and was a guest on several roles on television apart from playing co-lead roles in Lucky 7.
