Anushka Sharma is a Bollywood actor as well as a producer. She is among the Bollywood's highest paid actresses and has been recognized with a prestigious award for her work. She also is the brand ambassador for various brands, and she has her own clothing line designed for women that is known as Nush. Her work has also earned her debut to Forbes Magazine. Anushka Sharma was born on May 1, 1988, at Ayodhya Uttar Pradesh, India to Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Her father was a former colonel is Anushka's father. She is the daughter of an housewife. Karnesh Sharma, Anushka's younger brother, was an Merchant Navy officer and is currently a movie producer. Anushka Sharma has completed her education at the Army School, Bangalore and has pursued an undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. Anushka has a Masters of Arts Degree in the field of Economics. Anushka has always wished to become a journalist or even a model. Anushka was able to move to Mumbai following the completion of her degree and was enrolled at Elite Model Management, and was groomed by the fashion consultant Prasad Bidapa. In 2017, Anushka began her modeling career for designer Wendell Rodriguez's Les Vamps Show at Lakme Fashion Week and was subsequently selected by the designer as the finale model at spring 2007's Spring Collection. Anushka Sharma was involved in numerous brand campaigns since she made her Lakme Fashion Week debut. This includes campaigns for Fiat Palio and Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka began auditioning for films and attended an acting workshop while working as model. In 2008, Anushka Sharma made her acting debut with the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in the role of Shah Rukh Khan. The actress took a day off to get ready for her test on screen and refused to perform an impromptu version. She agreed to three films with Yash Raj Films. The film in which she starred played the role of a young bride for a middle-aged male (the character Shah Rukh Khan was playing). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. In 2010 Anushka Sharma appeared in the movie 'Badmash Company' along with Shahid Kapoor Das and Meiyang Chang. This movie was met with mixed reviews. Anushka was an Punjabi girl from middle-class families in the film 'Band Baaja Baaraat. Anushka was in the film with Ranveer. The movie received positive reviews and was an overnight success. Anushka had completed the 3 film contract she signed together with Yash Raj Films.
